Ken Fisher's Favorite Preamp tubes

Question what were ken's favorite preamp tubes for a express. I know this is a big part of the amp beside the transformers. I heard if you needed new tubes for a trainwreck you needed to send the amp back to ken. Ken would handpick each preamp tube with a specific Q.

Didn't he use Siemen's power tubes and RFT preamp tubes? I would just plug and play with your stash until you hit paydirt. 8)

Question what were ken's favorite preamp tubes for a express.
Either selected Tungsram or Telefunken flat plates ECC83's. Power tubes were RFT-manufactured Siemens-branded EL34's.
