I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance!

But seriously. I think I have found some perf board.

Here are the specs.

Thickness is only 1/16"
Holes are 0.093" They fit the turrets that I have perfectly except for board thickness. Two boards may have to be sandwiched together to have a good fit.
Holes are on 0.265" centers
Board size is 3-3/4" x 8"

Supplier has 58 pieces in stock.

I can't be sure but price looks to be about $20 per baord. That would be $60 by the time you are done sandwiching boards and doing the power and pre boards. I figure you can cut one board in half and sandwich it to make the PW board.

It's not exact but it may get us close!

This is the same board that I gave the link too in the other thread 5 days ago.

It is made by GC part number 22-518 and can be ordered through the link above and a few others. A local electronic shop here has about 6 Pcs in stock. I was told by the guy at minuteman.com that GC had about 60 Pcs in stock and that this has NOT been discontinued.

Why do you need to double it up? The stuff that I salvaged out of an old amp to make my power supply board was only 1/16" thick and worked great. My only concern for using this board was that it was not long enough to make the main board for an amp.

Actually that is the same stuff. I didn't get price actually. I found that piece in some old stuff my brother bought at a flea market and contacted the manufacturer. They have stock but I would need to go to a distributor for pricing which I haven't done yet. I just guessed at a ballpark price.

I would double it up to make it stronger. It's kind of flimsy

8" is about an inch short but I guess it could still work or you could put two together. It's as close as we are likely to get in the near future.
