I have a reverb tank designed to be mounted flat with the springs looking down. Does anyone know what to do to the reverb tank to be able to be mounted vertically? like on the front side of the amp head ?
It just won't fit if I mount it flat at the bottom.
The reverb type is accutronics 8AB2A1B, short tank, 3 spring, horizontal open side down.
I was wondering if they make a unit to be mounted vertically.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Frank

I've done this before, if it's a brand new tank you can just mount it vertically. After about a year or so of moving it in and out of clubs you will need to replace or tighten up the mounting springs. The reverb springs don't seem to care. You could try putting a piece of foam inside to keep the whole internal assembly from traveling so far downward when it's jarred.
