Quote from the organ forum:
The 628 Rhapsody 61/61/25 console dates back to 1968 and marks the changeover from tubes to transistor in that series.
Re: you guys think this thing has tubes?

Re: you guys think this thing has tubes?

Re: you guys think this thing has tubes?
So, what are you after after it for? Just a parts scavenge?
Re: you guys think this thing has tubes?
Yup sometimes those old organ speakers sound good. Should have a couple of nice ots a huge pt a couple of 12ax7s a quad of 7868s about 50 au7s and a couple miles of wire
Re: you guys think this thing has tubes?
I kept a shit ton from my old Baldwin Orgasonic, including many of the panels with inductors, resistors, etc. I got around 80 nine pinners out of it (90% 12AX7s) and a dual 6L6GC (RCA Blackplates
) PS with a 5U4 rect. The PT is leaking tar, but the OT is usable. I'll do something with it eventually. I think there was a choke as well and some other thing.
If that thing is priced to move, I'd probably take it. The only downside is tearing it apart if it is indeed working. Mine wasn't. Not well, anyway. I got a really good stash of old CCs from mine and found the 220k in that bag that fixed my 1472.

That's a steal! I'm happy for you.
That one seems much cooler than the one I had, given the extra features. The speakers are cool, but mine had been a eaten at a little. I think they're still worth keeping and maybe reconing.
