Sad indeed, I have followed Walter for many years and had no idea that he was in such tough shape.

It's not sad at all!! We are killing it!! Throw a few bucks at Walter.
PLEASE
$10 makes a big difference. $20 doubles it.

Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

...I had No Idea.
I always liked Walter and his band. He was a cool guy and a decent family man if I am not mistaken.
The World is full of troubles.
Best Of Luck Please

The other day when I donated, there was just shy of $50,000 contributed. Today I checked and the amount given is above the $125,000 target. That was good, good, good to see. What a relief. It reaffirms that music people are inherently good and willing to help a fellow traveler in need.
Re: Walter Trout....Good News !!!
My question is about Medical Insurance I guess.
Is this typical, for an operation like this.?
Most people could not write a check for 150k to cover their "Co-Pay". So is this what happens.?
If you need a Kidney, and your part will be 200k...do you need to get that money secured before the surgery can start.?
Thank You

Right On! I have been following this, and was very pleased that Walter got a new liver!
Sounds like he has a long recovery ahead of him, but things are looking up. All of this should give him lots of material for his next album!

Excellent!!!
Re: Walter Trout....Good News !!!
Good news! He has been holed up at the University Nebraska Med Center here in Omaha and the blues locals have been following this closely. He is evidently on the mend! Great University hospital, by the way. Prejudiced because I graduated from UNMC.
