Hi there!
Just thought I'd share my latest build with the community. It's not a debug thread, the amp works 100%. It is the best amp I have ever played and I have built and played all the vintage 50's and 60's Fender tweeds, blackfaces and Marshalls... This says a lot to me. Dynamics are second to none, the amp picks up everything. Cleans are gorgeous and the crunch/natural distorsion is impressive. I think I have found my Holy Grail amp at last! Darn LOUD for a 30w amp though!!! The volume it puts out easily rivals a 100w plexi! I'm glad I have an attenuator or I wouldn't be able to play it. I didn't think it would be louder than my 50w plexi, but it is, for whatever reason I can not fathom right now!
Pics for some drooling now... Oh, by the way, the woodburning on the faceplate was all done by myself... This was the first time I woodburned something, it's really nice and it turned out quite well! The cab was done by the well-known Mikey over here...
Very impressive, both inside and out.
It kind of looks like it has patina already, maybe that is dull colour of the sand-block 1k and the shade of the perf boards.
Beautiful and inspiring.
Very nice amp great job on your build. I like the faceplate. Can't beat the ease of using can caps over cap stack.
The PT is 300mA if you used TW spec's so that could easily power a 70w-80w circuit. The OT is rated for 50w conservatively speaking because it also could handle 70-80w.
I like down sizing the iron mA rating and let the tubes sing. But not much of an Express playing guy I prefer a Marshall but have 3 Express amps go figure
Fred did an awesome job on his amp,He is a very talented builder,You should see his Marshalls as well.He did an awesome job on his faceplate,Have fun Fred.Im very happy for you,Mikey
Great job Fred! This amp looks like the poster child for the Euro-Wreck build. The sonic blast that these amps put out can really take you by surprise... both in quantity and quality. Nice looking amp! Send us a sound clip and maybe a few details on how you tubed it, cabinet specs, etc... rj
Ah Just Bask to the Stunned Silence... it is good stuff.
I liked the "V' tone best of all, I thought it was thicker and richer than the Les Paul. Also that was really good Stevie Ray tone with your Strat... great chops!
Really nice job on the amps and a special thanks for going to the trouble to record and share the clips.

F#ck yeaaahhh!!! You bet! That's what I built it for! STAGE!
I'll have to use my attenuator though or I'll be kicked out of the bars... They usually think that my Tremolux 5E9A is already too loud on 6, I don't even wanna hear what they'll think about this wreck! Ahaha!!!
