Thanks, Darin. I record directly into a Zoom H4N, then I mix on my laptop using Audacity. Nothing fancy.

Sounds great. Love alnicos too. :)
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

I want to try some alnicos with it. Both of mine are ceramic. Might get a gold and try it.

Guitars sounds GREAT!

Drums sound like POO.

I take it back about the drums if that was you playing.

That's really funny. The drums and bass are a cheap iPhone app that I (as a non-drummer) programmed.

The guitars are all me. Glad you like them.

I used alnicos on both ends for years. PAF killers. Sweet feedback without screaming. Great setup!

That sounds great. Really inspiring! In fact, I think your video has help me decide my next build will be a Rocket. Yes, indeed. Thanks for posting. 8)

What year are the Mullards in yours? The one I built has a quad from '68 with the later shield logo. Sound real good at a point, but squash like mashed potatoes when really cranked. I've come to like it with the volume on noon and the cut on noon as well. Treble and bass less than noon and I dig. Doesn't squash too much and the cleans are really great.

Not sure of the year -- I bought this used. But I look forward to trying those settings. I like the sound of this one less than cranked, too.

For those keeping score at home, I played this amp at church this morning. The special song was a country rock tune we re-purposed for church, and I played the Rist with no pedals. This amp has a great combination of chimey top end and, when you dig in, midrange beef. Super touch sensitive. Digging it, digging it.
