Africa Maple

Post by boots »

I thought this was a cool pic. Fret 4 on my 1990 American Strat. I always thought it was a defect, but more and more lately, I think it is a pretty cool feature in my maple fretboard. I remember the salesman in the music store telling me that the map of Africa was cool. It is the only bit of "figuring" on the whole guitar.

Man, I need a fret job....

Very cool. Does kind of look like an old parchment map of Africa. Those frets tell the real story!

The journey is in the Way, not the destination Daniel-san.

Even if you can only play Smoke On the Water, revel in the fact, and let others cower and avert their gaze in fear and awe of your Rock. \m/

I've been playing for 20+ years and I still suck. What pisses me off is when someone first picksup a guitar and year later theyre better than me.I'm pretty good sized ol boy So I just take comfort in the fact I could problay kick their ass.

doesnt help having severe carpal tunnel in both hands. but learning to play has helped them a lot because i'm forcing my self to to stretch and take care of them. I still have fun.
