Well not really working. I am a field service tech and there were no calls for me today. So I was thinking about a new section for clips and /or guitar pics gallery.

I know you guys will hate the idea. You are a selfish bunch and want to keep this place to yourselves

There's nothing wrong with "progress".
The reason it seems out of place here is that guitar and especially tube amps is so steeped in tradition, vintage this-n-that and nostalgia.
The only way the use of tube amps has survived is that guitarists are so resistant to change.
That's not all bad.

It could easily be spun off if it catches on.

An important issue to consider is storage! At TGP, you cannot upload dataz, you have to host them somewhere else and link to them. Not a problem for me…I'm a webmaster by profession. But for folks here at TAG, having some free storage and the ability to easily post files to the threads is a BIG PLUS. It really makes the community richer.

In part, TGP is supported by members fees. And I would be happy to pay a membership here as well, but no one has ever asked for money!

And as long as we keep costs down maybe Allyn won't ask for anything or use pop up ads. If I were to make a new section for guitar pics and /or clips it would be set to not allow TAG hosting. You would have to use remote hosting. But I would leave the current sections the way they are for troubleshooting pics and Schem and layout files.

In any case I am thinking about it but ATM it's not serious. Just an idea I am kicking around.
