Any love for Charvel out there?
I picked up an old MIJ strat clone yesterday for $100
Really like the neck on it.
Someone fitted Duncan pickups - a little too hot for my taste.
I did manage to sneak it into the house without the wife noticing.
Just blends in with the herd.
Win Win - so far...

Yeah, I'm a fan. Great guitars. I always liked the super-strat vibe, more stripped down.

Wow, well done. Even if the wife found out...$100? That's a killer deal. Some of the best sounding and playing guitars start like that. I had an old friend, he'd hot rod Squiers into Yngvie Malmsteen strat clones with full neck scallops. Some of those humble Squiers were quite a bit nicer than some American Standards!
Not to cross topics, but Allan Holdsworth played a few personalized Charvels. They had a single Seymour Duncan double-screw '59 PAF in the bridge only.
I've got a '91 Charvel Fusion Deluxe. Strat style body with a Gibson scale length (hence the fusion in the name) and 24 frets of awesome and, of course, toothpaste logo.
I should set that guitar up today for my Sunday gig, it's a little shred machine.
I used to play a ST-3 I think it was. It was a USA model. Had a Dimarzio SD in the bridge. Great guitar, simply would not go out of tune if you ever got it in tune. Fed it to my teenage son. Wish I still had it.
Yep, I have one of the original US San Dimas Strats with a "raw" Birdseye Neck that I bought back in '83 or so. Pulled out the Duncan distortion pickup in the bridge and put in a Rio Grand BBQ which sounds fantastic, the harmonics just jump out of the guitar. Fortunately or unfortunately it does not have a Floyd Rose but a conventional strat bridge. The neck has truly ruined me to like anything else, maybe a Wizard neck is the next closest.
My favorite Charvel was black with an early floyd a strat headstock and a way wide unfinished neck. I love that guitar. Dead flat quarter-sawn neck with huge frets and no measurable action. Yikes I miss that one.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Blank neck plate?
That neck/headstock doesn't look right.
Actually the body looks more like a Kramer ST300.
Tuners don't look right either.
Other than that...not much to help you with.
I had to shim the neck when I got it to set it up right so maybe it is a Frankenstein of some sort.
