Customized Rocket Style Amp Demos in Hi Def on Youtube

Post by badtweed »

Here is a 1080Phi def video of me playing old school licks through my recently completed Quad 36 amps. The amp is essentially a Rocket with extra features like channel switching, boost switch and a effects loop.

I shot the video in my garage using a Canon T2i with a Canon nifty fifty 50mm 1.8 lens

No pedal effects, but I did add some slight plate reverb post performance.

Great sounding and looking builds, very nice.

did you use the internal mic on the T2i for the recordings?
thanks,
sean

Thanks, Sean.
I did not use the Canon's built in mics.
I used an Edirol (Roland)R-09 stereo wave recorder with external John Hardy Mic Preamps with 2 Shure SM57's and married the hi def video and audio together using Sony's Vegas Pro.
