Dumble Overdrive Special #009X

Post by brentm »

Sup fellas.

I hadn't seen this one before in my travels or on this site. While searching for Dumble porn, I stumbled on this on gbase. Here's the original link.

http://www.gbase.com/gear/dumble-dumble ... 67-reissue

I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Perhaps someone here knows more about this one. I believe it's #009X (can't quite make out the last digit). I inverted the image in with the serial number in photoshop to make out the digits...

What confuses me the most, is the description reads that of the Fender Bandmaster conversion that circulated (on gbase and ebay). The one with the fan inside the amp head cabinet.

Looks way more recent than that. Black chassis, script, presence knob on the front ,etc etc.. Late 3rd generation????

This 1 was posted a while back by Ultrahooked I think. Music Ground owned it for a while. They had this as the pic when they were selling a Dumble modded Bandmaster i believe.

Yeah, that's what the pics with the link appear to be. I just hadn't seen it on here. I'm not sure if there is a definitive collection of gut shot photographs on this site?

And given it's been degooped, I'd imagine it may have been discussed somewhere before. Perhaps privately when the owner cloned it and sold the original laughing all the way to the bank?
