Why not move the OD trimmer to the front panel?

Post by Joost »

I was wondering why not move the OD trimmer for the input of OD1 to the front panel? That way you have more control over the OD voice. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work?

Some builders do that, as I did on my last build. Worked fine, but for many it is a set and forget adjustment near a specific resistance. I will admit to not varying it much from a "standard" parameter. I think a better implementation would be to have it vary minutely between 22-28k. Try it, you may like it
