Hi Tim and welcome to the forum.
I was one of the people that emailed you.
It was to tell you about this forum and the amount of information on the generations of amplifiers made by Alexander Dumble.

We have a member here, Max, that has a lot of historical information about the lineage of these beautiful amps.

Unfortunately it is not organized very well so you may have to dig a bit.

Just like Fender did, Dumble started with the silver chassis and ended up with blackfaced amps.

Did you enjoy playing the purple combo?

There was another Overdrive Deluxe that sounded awesome.

Geez TAG, did you post comments on that board as well?
Tom

Don't let that smoke out!
