10k L DPDT (push pull) Pot ?

Post by boldaslove6789 »

Anybody know where I can get a Mini 10k L DPDT (push pull) Pot ?

I looked around for a while & I'm putting FET in my Bluesmaster. I want to put the 10k pot on the front panel in place of the FET input. Instead of bypassing with a relay I want to just put it on a DPDT push pull instead so I don't have to drill any holes just incase I decide on relay bypass in the future.

FET should be a cool feature when using lap steel Pups (because of the phase issues and the low output etc.).

Really you want an audio pot for the FET's output level.

But...
Since you said you want a 10K(B) push-pull pot.

You can use any size pot really, as long as it is linear. Just add a resistor in parallel with the outside lug's to bring the pot down to the desired resistance. Since the taper is linear the added parallel resistor wont do anything funny to the taper.

Mouser stocks an Alpha one that should work (part #313-1601F-10K).
