need advise on buying a ceriatone hrm bm 100

I am looking at buying one or the other give me your inputs? I can get one from nik at ceriatone for 1300.00 or one from jon a mill creek audio for 1600.00 with some mods done? not sure what will be done but says hes does them.

let me know what you think. I can wire mods myself too if needed.

Try posting stuff like this in the Ceriatone forum. This is a builders forum. That said I wouldnt mind putting in some input. Nik and his guys build great amps. The only thing that is lacking IMO is the transformers (mostly just the OT, PT seems fine and runs cool. Not sure what mods that builder does but most of the tweeking can be done through the HRM, there are a few mods that anyone who is handy with a soldering iron could do, but mostly its taste.
