I'm having problems with the search function...

Post by Bob Simpson »

I really do try to use the search, but I must be doing something wrong...

I put in the search criteria, say "OD and entrance" and am rewarded with several or many entries. If I click on an entry, it comes up, of course, but when I try to get back to the search results, I alway get an error about the "Webpage has expired" and have to start over with "OD and entrance" and get the results list and click one and return to "Webpage has expired"...

After a number of those cycles, I give up, and start a new thread...

Please, kind sirs, what am I missing?

Ya it just does that, I have found no work around either.

I just open a bunch of the threads that look promising in a new tab (right click open in new tab).

When you get "Web page expired", do F5 or click the refresh icon and you will be prompted to Retry, click OK. This will take you back to the previous "results list" search found page without typing.

Thanks, ToneMerc!

That's much easier.

If you are using a tabbed browser like IE7 or later or one of the third party browsers, right click on the thread you want to review and choose "open in new tab".
THat will leave the page of the search results alone.

Don't let that smoke out!
