How many relays?

Post by Tdale »

If I go for the weber relay-board, it looks like the circuit can't be grounded, at least not if I have a 6,3V with center tap.

So in stead of using a 5-pin XLR socket, with one of the pins for grounding, I'll go for a insulated jack

But does this mean that I can have just one relay for each jack? Or could I use a stereo jack, and have one switch connected to the ring, one to the tip, and use the third lug (normally for grounding) as a common, and that way use two relays?

use a microphone jack with all pins isolated.

Yes Tommy

Use a stereo "insulated" jack and you can run two relays (I do that).
