Relay part number

I tried ordering 551-MR62-12USRY off the #124 BOM from Mouser but they are no longer available and being new to relays I need your guys assisstant in making sure I get the correct ones for a #124 build.

Hi Mark,
Rat shack has a small selection of relays. picked up a couple of 12 DPDT jobbies for 5 bucks a piece.

Trouble is my relay board was too big to install on my BM 70 conversion. I really could get by with just 1 relay.....to switch OD in/out.

Went through the trouble installing a 6-0-6 RS tranny (6 bucks) in the back corner next to the PT. There it will sit until a smaller board appears......lol

The PS board for the relays is also on back burner. At least that has stand offs waiting for the 2" x 3" board that will fit.

Thanks, I am going to Radio Shack tomorrow they have those trannies in stock. I have to build my boads yet but taking my damn sweet time about it huh.

So many amps waiting to get done I need to kick into high gear. Everytime I start on one I find there is are parts I don't have? I have a fully stocked parts bin.

I'm going with a Ceriatone Kit next time I don't care what anyone says this parts sourcing is driving me freaking nuts.

I'm going to buy 1000 of every resistor, cap and such that is ever put in an amp.......................sit in my underware, drink my coffee, build amps, and do nothing else for about a year......without waiting for F***ing parts.

Or else, you spend 3 hours at your favorite surplus parts store, get everything you need......get home and realize that you had brought list Rev 2 and not list Rev 3 ............that has those 5 other parts you didn't get.

The other problem is there are all these specials on chassis/faceplates and other things so I fall into the acquistion trap or is that called hording?

I buy cap and resistor kits or quantities but it never fails I get off on another type of amp and it requires different cap values. I learn awhile to load up on 2, 3, 5, 10, & 25w resistors.

This Dumble amp is really a parts hog.

Mark could you go to Dumble files and look at my post Bassman 70 into ODS? I have some info on my current project, and could use an extra opinion or more. thanx, Mike

mark, is this your first D build ?. I just finished my first ods100
rebuilt it five times to get the sound I wanted the best example I found was the Henry Keisers Dumble. Used low plate 100k on v-1 @ 175 volts
v-2 high plate
220k 150k @200 volts v-3 275 volts used mil spec irc resistors and dale
also 2 watt a/b and pec pots the mil spec parts made the amp IM pleased
with the amp now. working out the specs on my next build the dumble looks easy to build but alot of the clones seem to lack the midrange.
A book that helped me was Designing Tube Preamps for Guitar and Bass
By Merlin Blencowe.

Steve, yes I have had my Dumble chassis for a while and slowly populating each chassis. I made a D'lite board for one to go 50w two holer. The other chassis is 100w Twin Reverb MC iron thinking about #124 for that amp.

I will take a look at the info your talking about thanks.

at $1.50ea along with a good stock of 10W resistors
