JM Two Rock?

Post by v00d00blues79 »

I was flipping through some pics that I had save to my notebook and I ran across the one I've attached. It is labeled like its a gut shot of a John Mayer Two Rock amp, but it appears in the front panel pic like it was a prototype.

A couple of things I'm not sure about is how the V2 (a & b) are wired. It looks like the lug where the volume wiper runs to on V1b is being tapped and also fed, via a resistor, to V2a as well. I'm curious if anyone could shed some light on this setup.

Thanks,

Andy

It looks similar to the schematic for ODR#13 in the files section. V2a is the point where the signal is amplified and then sent to the reverb driver and I think V2b is the first stage of the reverb recovery amp.

I think the Two Rock Sterling may be laid out like this as well.

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone happen to have a cleaner reading version of the ODR schem?

Thanks,
