It came from a yard sale a long while back, at the bottom of an box of
miscellaneous one and three watt carbon comp. resistors.
The only place for it is as a grid return for a zero bias dress.
Still waiting for the right wacky tube and cap to go with it.

How big is that thing?

Can you take a picture with something else in the shot with it so we can tell the size of it? :D

sorry... It's 3 inches long, and the glass a 1/4" in diameter.

Geeze! 10M @1W - using E^2/R = P, you'd need ... lessee sqrt(10M*1) ... 3.1kV to approach that thing's rated dissipation.

Any other radar parts in your bin?

holy cow..... You never know just where the yard sale stuff might have
come from. Its old, but I found it locally, maybe someone scrounging bits
from an early TV or AM instillation.
