First and foremost, thanks to you fellows for your comments. Also, thank you to Shane for your patience.

He is states away, so no.

I am not a guitar lead player. I played rhythm for years. Anything I did as far as leads was all just practiced mechanics. I had no idea what key, scale or otherwise. I could nail very difficult solos within a few hours. Then there is the fact that I have played nothing but bass for the last 6 years or so... I'm rusty on the guitar to say the least. It was my dumb ass idea to use the looper to hear changes in the tone. It has been helpful to a degree in that I have heard massive changes in clarity and in the top end. I understand that there are things going on with impedance matching, just for starters that limit how useful the looper can be. I seem to be past the end of its usefulness now. Suggest a lead to play, something that could reveal the issues, I'll do my best to hack out a clip of that so we can go further.

It is aluminum, which is a metal btw.. But I see where you were going with that and all is as it should be there.

I don't think that there is any sonic degradation from any of the crap/flux as it is, but be assured I will give it a good cleaning before it leaves the shop. Also, good eye on the snubbers, I forgot to change them out.

Oh no!! On further inspection, the chassis is steel, or something in it is ferrous.

Oh yes that's what I meant . Steel as opposed to aluminum. It was a long day lol.
I have seen it posted here where some builders are partial to aluminum over steel chassis, not sure exactly why just something I read here.

I wonder if Mr D ever used steel?
