Hi Guys,
Is there a specific choke that you guy's are using? The schematic shows a 15H choke, and I believe Mark Abbott used a Twin Reverb choke.
BTW-I will also be using Moose's iron like Mr. Ruby.

I use an AC30 choke, I think it's 18h , 15h is fine. 1K choke resistor and 1k screen resistors will give you a little more sag and seem to make things a little greasier sounding. The main thing with this stuff is to try it all and see what you like.

Final amp pics... Added half-power switch on the back and the "bright" switch on the front to add additional coupling and treble caps.

I strongly recommend the "bright" switch. DPST switch to add 470pf in parallel with hardwired 470pf coupling cap and to add 250pf in parallel with hardwired 47pf treble cap. This is the pic that shows it:

I can't say enough good things about this amp. It really inspires me to play every day.
Currently, I play in a punk band, although my styles and tastes run the gamut; blues, jazz, country and rockabilly, and of course rock and roll. Whenever we play a gig, guitarists geek out over the amp. We opened up for Billy Talent recently (a very popular band from Canada), and their tech and stage manager were totally flipping out over the tone. They'd heard of Ken and his amps. Kinda cool that even in a relatively simple musical setting, the amp still shines brightly!
I really need to post some clips to show what this thing can do.

I was inspired by John's amp to have Paul build me one, pics of which I'll post in another thread.
