I actually preferred the subtle 500pf mica, but I know that the fellow getting this one has a real Dumbleator II and will expect that HUGE bright cap sound.
But, in reaility, WHO really uses the bright cap on the send side. (unless you are feeding it to a PA or mixer off stage).

I feel ya on the smaller rack, I'm having some made up 10" deep to fit both mono and stereo units.
BTW, you might want to check the USPTO on using "Matchbox" pretty sure Matchless has a trademark on that one, just to save you the grief and aggrivation!

Are you thinking of the Hotbox.Funkalicousgroove wrote:I feel ya on the smaller rack, I'm having some made up 10" deep to fit both mono and stereo units.

I did a search and did not find the two related, but USPTO TESS is a POS to find anything.

Looks like It's Rolls, they make an impedance buffer called a matchbox- I was thinking of the hot box, you're right about that-

I actually took the name from the old E.F. Johnson antenna tuner called "The Matchbox".

USPTO TESS gives you registered names but if someone can show prior usage registration doesn't matter. These day if it doesn't show up in USPTO TESS or on a google search you are probably good to go.
