Are you sure The turrets that I originally shared for this post are going to work okay? I did a little preassembly on a small circuit yesterday and while they do seem reasonable, it just seems like there are more rugged ones out there for a 3 mm board.

Let me know If you have some other options and where I might be able to find them.
The 3 mm board is the sheet thickness not the hole diameter. The stem of the turret is longer for going through the board. Turrets do have different inside through holes. Keystone Electronics offers several. Another option is eyelets. Look at Keystone Electronics website.

Yes, that took me a little bit to figure out what the 3 mm was for and that's where I was getting confused because I've been watching other build videos some of those guys were really hefty turrets. Then I looked at my little puny ones and I had turret envy.

Out of curiosity, did you have a specific part number from keystone? They have quite a few of them and it's a little hard to figure out. I'd be interested in something that was dual configuration, for 3 mm board that was also hollow.

Keystone 1509-3
I use the Harwin turrets that TubeDepot sells BIFURCATED split turrets.

Okay! I have some from Tube Depot. I think I. In good shape, I was initially confused with the 2/3mm thing.

As far as what I had seen on the videos, I guess everything looks bigger on camera!
