i beleive thats an old hammond power tranny ,the original recto was a 5u4 voltage is probly too high for 6v6s but sounds like you would like 5881s in there nice cleans with a little compresion.

I'm running it with a ANOS Westinghouse 5V4. I Do have a Fender 5AR4 and some Sovtek (oh, I HATE them) 5U4s. I just put a pair of TAD 6L6s in the power to replace the Groove Tubes. I'll probably actually take this little beast onstage Saturday night!

I am always happy to see one of my little monsters out there in the real world making noise ,sounds like a good combo I tend to favor the 6l6s and 5v4s are my personal favorite recto.
