Re: The story of The Amp Garage
once upon a time, a mommy amp and a daddy amp loved each other very much...
Re: The story of The Amp Garage
I thought it was a traveling salesman amp and a farmers daughter amp.
I guess I got my stories mixed up a bit.

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

Re: The story of The Amp Garage
I don't remember where I saw Omar announce it, but I immediately joined and was Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine, Turn me on dead man.
I was a complete newbie at the time, having just got in to building amps (P1 Extreme, which I didn't really care for). To say I learned a lot from this site would be a huge understatement.
I also made some great friends along the way. And found some smart people with an amazing amount of patience and willingness to help.
Someone should probably also compile a list of "This guy is totally wacked," with links to the threads. There was Bill and Gerry, but there was some other guy whose name I can't remember that thought TW amps were just Vox copies and had a amp reviewed by GP and they found 500 volts on one of the pots. Read his obit some time ago. He was also a for-hire magician. Which is probably what a lot of crappy musicians are looking for.
For every one kook, there are ten or even a hundred standup guys. This is why TAG has flourish. I've witnessed a lot of board meltdowns in my days, but this board has survived the doozies.
This post should be made into a new Ceriatone amp.
