On paper I messed with creating a dual HRM and non-HRM head a few years back. The non side was stock but the HRM was OD only.

IIRC, one version had a tweed Deluxe-like tone-stack on a trimmer to shave some of the hair. Another version had a rotary coupling circuit after V1a like a Matchless or AC15. The theory was that if I tuned the amp for one guitar, I'd better use it every time and not break any strings either.

The coupler is the big decision. There might be some wisdom on the Trainwreck side on on how to cascade that much gain.
