First amp build maybe?

I'm thinking about the classictone 18W set. Seems like a great price, and I've seen some praise for them. Anyone with direct experience?

Anyone ever compare an AC15 OP trans to the Marshall 18watt OP? I think the Vox has a bit more iron and would it give you a little more balls?

I'm thinking those Matchless transformers would be better and more accurate for a Spitfire or Lightning build but then again I'm very happy with my build using Marshall 18w iron. http://www.westlabs.com/Trannys.HTML#15watt

Go with the TDS transformers if you can.. the ebay listing Mark posted is actually Bob from TDS selling on ebay I see a power tranny but not an OT.. contact him through his posting to find out if he has them.. I have his 30watt in my Matchless DC30 build.. made a huge difference from the trannies I replaced ..
