Yes I've done a TW with a buss wire in front like that and it worked very well.
I don't like soldering to the pots for several reasons, heat to the pots and the fact that the pots are touching the chassis.

I am sure that the Larry grounding system for JTM45 amps would work well here too, after being adapted for the trainwreck circuitry.

I mostly used larrys Scheme on my Tremorocket thing.Zero hum.Some hiss If you get the volume and treble way up there but I did use old CC's on the plates.

I used the Larry grounding on one TW amp. It's about the same as the Komet 60 grounding.
