Mine's in almost as good a shape as the one shown but tests near 100% on both sides.
It's a Cunningham/RCA, meaning it's pretty old, one of the earliest octals.
Ought to take quite a bit of level to clip, though, maybe placed either pre or post inverter as part of a master volume ?
