Whenever I think of Fender bolt-on acoustics I recall the 2000 ASIA (Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans) convention in Nashville. They always end the week with an auction that includes bidding for the privilege of smashing some really awful guitars. There were three or four of those bolt-on Fenders with the headstock sawn-through that bit the dust that night.
