OK, I gotta ask, since Google let me down on this one: What's the history behind the name "hot rubber monkey?" Sounds like the name of a 70's punk band or something....

I purchased 1W metal film resistors from Antique Electronic Supply. I wonder whether the Vishay Dales made a significant difference to these. I guess they will since I did not notice a lot of change when I subbed the CCs for the MFs from AES.
The only problem is it is difficult to get Vishay Dales in Europe. When I order with Mouser the shipping costs will likely exceed the price I pay for the resistors.
