The 1990 Charlton Heston version of Treasure Island. I love the hell out of that movie... a bit odd that no one I've met has really heard of it in comparison
I also fell in love with the music for it by the Chieftans, very dramatic.

"Oh Brother Where Art Though?" Starring Robert Johnson.
Is it really true no bullfrogs were harmed? The choreograpy on the KKK scene is bitchin', it looks ot me like an adaptation of a Shaker dance. Let's see, on that note "American History X" is cool too. Wish it had a happy ending...
"The Postman."
"The Postman."
I believe in this and it's tested by research...

Re: favourite film?
the original star wars was amazing.
I'm still butt hurt about the new trilogy's use of CG animation. I understand bigger better fast more, being cutting edge, and all that jazz. had they just said F- it and used the old school techniques, Ships on strings, migets in trash cans, and cardboard space ships like they used in the originals to do the new movies they would have been 100,000,000,000,000,000 times more mind blowing.

+2 for Shaun of the Dead.
Also love all the Mel Brooks stuff (e.g. Young Frankenstein, History of the World).
Monty Python's Holy Grail, too.

All excellent choices. All you Shaun fans have a new movie to look forward to....Paul {The Movie}. It filmed here in New Mexico last summer. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost make friends with an alien. Both are super nice guys, by the way.Noval_novice wrote:+2 for Shaun of the Dead.
