Thank you, are you saying the bright switch have the same effect as moving the caps over using them as "bright caps"? If so, I should just smack my forehead and move on... That master volume pot have a pull bright switch, and I guess that why those caps are there. I have no use for that bright switch really.
Could I rewire it to do a "bright cap" function on the master instead.
Or as I don't need the bright switch, I could easily move the caps over to the viper on the pot though, and disabling the pull function...
Hmm, decisions decisions...
Some input on this will be appreciated.
As for the bright switch, if you don't use it, and if you're happy with the tone of the amp, just leave the switch off, don't change a thing. I wouldn't move the caps to the wiper, that would put the bright on all the time, which you said you have no use for.

Bright switch, bright cap it's all the same
. Just a cap that let's some highs through. As said if you don't like the switch just don't use it.

Ah, I learn something new every day. That means my amp already have the little mod I though about doing, and it's even switchable, haha..ChrisM wrote:Bright switch, bright cap it's all the same. Just a cap that let's some highs through. As said if you don't like the switch just don't use it.
