They do a show in NY and LA. I had the opportunity to talk to the promoter Loni Spector ( he busted me as an unauthorized exhibitor after I had shown my amp to a few people  He was pretty cool about it though) He wasn't sure he could afford to do another Austin show after the low turn-out. Hope he tries again next year.

Hey Folks,

Just checking in after the trek back to SF from Austin. Really tired, but had a fun time with the folks who came to the show. It was a pleasure to meet and hang for bit with Billy Z, Texas Blues boy and his friend, Simon IIRC. I am seriously sleep deprived, however I did take some videos that I will be posting today. I think I have Billy testing out the Vapour and a few other great players as well.

Of course, it was a blast getting to hang with Ron too. He's a great guy and a good friend. Thanks for supporting the effort.

Well I tried to warn loni at gear page then I was banned after that
so I could not follow up...

I lived in austin from 81 till about 9 years ago and it was pretty much
the same most are students there on small budgets and they cant
afford new amps .. that said the players are not buying anything new
either because they have the gear they need and most of the old
blues cats use vintage....

The economy should have been the first clue.

I only tried to warn him so as not to loose a bunch of money.
I kinda knew it would be a lo turn out ahead of time.
