Thanks to all who have helped along the way! I figured out what the problem was.....a shorted cable to the OD level Pot. I must have melted the sheath to the cable when soldering the ground of one end of my shielded cable to the pot!

I found it after talking with Norm and we were discussing how to ground out the OD channel. I just checked continuity on the Drive pot and OD level pots from the in (hot) to ground. :D

The amp still has some tweaking to do. I have the 3.3k resister on OD1 and 1uf electrolytics on CL2 and OD2. Mouser sent the 5uf on Friday!

I hate when that happens. It's happened to me so many times now that I check each time with my meter after soldering shielded cable.

Yeah, only took me two days to figure out.! LOL! Both my neighbors checked out the amp today and gave it the thumbs up! I do still have alot of tweaking to do though! :D (they couldn't tell, it already sounds better then the Bassman!)

I always buy Teflon Shielded after that same thing derailed me for a week with one of my first builds!

Allyn, spending time in Dumble Land Huh :wink: When are you starting your ODS? :D It's a fun build, sounds great too!
