I liking the photos and glad your making progress.
I have one 50w HRP left for myself but might sell it as I really don't need it.
Got a local guitar/amp show March 10th so I wanted to keep it around for my wall of doom presentation.

I botched my board by freehanding the layout without having the Filter caps in hand.
I am having a new board built by Hoffman and I am taking off the 3-20 uF and 47 uF/500 Caps and replacing them with an interior mounted multi cap.
I'll have to do my own Visio drawing to make sure I wire it correctly.
I small set back, I'll be caught up in a few days.

There are a lot of new caps out there that are physically much smaller with same value.

Mark, what are the latest and greatest caps these days?
I'm a bit out of the loop that way.
Thanks Mark.
Yours Sincerely

I flat out bothched my first board by being lazy. I laid out anothe board properly with all of the correct filter caps and the board came to 17", I haven't pulled the trigger on that board yet.
I am using a JTM 45 chassis so the 17 inches was too long by an inch.
I have it worked out with a muti-cap but I'm shy by 7 uF, I hope that doesn't affect the fire breathing too much.
I'll be back in the game tomorrow, Hoffman is efficient with his boards and shipping. I have a board coming with only the two 50 uF 600's on the board.

I use a 20" long chassis and my boards are around 19.75" so I can have lots of board room and I like the looks.
Hope you get your board stuffed and build back on track but take it slow.

Progress Update
Starting to look like an amplifier!
I need to study the guidelines for polarity so I can get my Sozo caps aligned correctly. Missing a few parts but it is coming together well.
Does anyone have a better source for .68 Caps? The smallest ones that I found were big. I think I bought them from Antique Electronics.

LOL - when I saw those big yellow caps I was laughing because I used the same ones in my build and they didnt fit very well
so I used "Capacitor - 630V, Polypropylene, radial leads" from Antique electronics - they are smaller but they are red
