line in on an 18 watt lite IIb

im building an 18 watt from a pro jr. is there an easy way to add a line in? id like to have a volume control if possible. here is the schematic

Like for a CD player or something to run into the amp?

Or do you mean a line out?

poweramp in. id be looking to use it as and 18 watt poweramp, both for other preamps, or possibly, if it sounds good, as a wet side of a wet/dry rig.

If you want it all passive, you could do a switched jack just before the PI. If you want a volume control that won't affect your preamp signal when you have no external source, you will have to have a separate box or something to adjust the volume prior the power amp in jack. I did this type of thing for my first build and it works pretty well.

i'm guessing the switched jack would work sufficiently. i'll look into that.
