It's still between clear coats, but I couldn't resist propping it up in the cab.
I used Glasman's method but printed on inkjet photo paper and glued it to the original aluminum faceplate. It does have a seam through the center of the Master, but it'll be barely noticable when the knobs are on. Next one will definately be on banner paper...lining up the seam was a real PITA.

Normster, Your front panel looks great, good job. I uploaded my modified bassman in the layout thread, and am considering to add a reverb too, but am curious to know what issues or problems you encountered in your build.

Inkjet printing, then attaching to chassis and clear spraying is to me the way to go. Which kind of paper did you use? Glossy or matte? Plain non photo paper?
To solve size issues I take A3 paper and then cut it to obtain something like A4 width that fits my printer but with 41cm length (enough for 16" wide chassis).
I still haven't found photo quality paper rolls at decent price because they usually are at least 50m!! , I was looking also for A3 autoadhesive paper to ease the work but none sells it, at least here in Italy.

BobW i built norms older odsreverb layout, and it works very well.. the reverb isn't HUGE but its bout perfect if your not dick dale:)
Bob, no problems with the reverb, but as Icetech said, it's not huge. Part of the problem may be the medium delay tank. (All I could find in a short tank.) I use a delay pedal as well so it worked out OK for me. It's just about right for playing a live gig but may need a little help for home recording.
Teo, I used glossy photo paper but that was a mistake. Next time I'm just going to use a high quality banner paper instead. It was difficult to line up the seam and it's still visible. Also, the glossy finish makes it look cheap. Much better to go with a satin or matte finish. Oh well, lessons learned.
Mine uses a standard fender tank fromt he 60's... works real good... reverb is definatly in there.. i would like some more dwell i guess you would call it, but i been to lazy to work on the thing:) I can post a clip of some of the reverb turned up high later if you want bob?
Thanks, guys. BTW, the faceplate really makes a difference in the tone. With the silverface it was more inductrial and CBS sounding. Now that it's blackface it seems more refined. LOL (just kidding, of course)

I'd love to hear a clip of the reverb, but assume you were able to fit a standard Fender tank into a bassman head? or am I missing something here?
