Matchless stereo mixer buffer
The Last of the World's Great Human Beings
Seek immediate medical attention if you suddenly go either deaf or blind.
If you put the Federal Government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years time there would be a shortage of sand.

The two ECC83s are probably arranged as virtual-earth adders, cascading into a a third adder for Y mode, maybe with the 4th triode as an output buffer, or maybe an output boost stage or something.

A Virtual Earth Adder also sounds like a Computer Generated Viper that dwells underground.
I bet Steve Irwin would've tackled one.

It's when you apply lots of local feedback to a stage, and a series of channels are fed to the stage via input resistors. Think of an op-amp arranged as an inverting amplifier, it's the same things.skyboltone wrote:Merlinb wrote:The two ECC83s are probably arranged as virtual-earth adders, cascading into a a third adder for Y mode, maybe with the 4th triode as an output buffer, or maybe an output boost stage or something.![]()
Thanks Merlinb. What do you suppose the american for virtual earth adder is? Sounds a bit like the magician explaning one trick by performing another!
