wish list for a Dano build

Just a hypothetical question here. if you have played danos and wish you could put any other pups into play on that guitar.... what would they be. I might go either two or three pickup configuration.

P90 - neck

M - lipstick 6.0

B - lipstick 4.6

Any thoughts, I am close to cutting the top plate for pups.

I have a Dano 12 string, and the stock lipsick pickups are just fine for my taste. I am a P90 maniac, and have several guitars with those, but for this one, no change needed.

Same here...

Mine's a Dano Pro and the only guitar that i have'nt touched...

But experimenting is fun... and, knowledge is power!

I say, try it...and hear it for yourself but, report back pretty please...

These plywood guitars are greeaaat!!!

they are cool with just the lipstick they are so light they don't sustain enough to chunk the tone you would think of a p90 having. dano's great on slide and the baritone model cuts threw a thick mix but if you want the tone and an instrument that hold tune get a jerry jones.

There's a local player by me that put tele pickups in a U2 and mounted a lipstick in the middle. I like it a lot.
