What is the D'Lite "Bass Mod"?

Post by markmalin »

I actually posted this on B.N. but thougth I'd get a quick answer from you guys. I have my amp open (building #2 right now) and thought I'd futs around with some things (hence the qestions). So is the bass mode just the jumper wire from one side of the bass control to the wiper? I mean, will snipping that reverse it? (eek...that phrase sounds painful..."snipping", "reversing"...)

Yes and yes.

On a real Dumble the wiper is connected thru the PAB relay: connected when PAB is off and disconnected when PAB is on.

There are several threads here with good info about this but the "search" function has not seemed to work for a while now.... :(
