Greetings! Just trying to repair/restore an old Silvertone amp.
The power transformer is putting out about 310VAC. The schematic calls for this to go to pins 1 and 6 of the 6X4 rectifier, with 330VDC appearing at pin 7. I ain't got nuthin'! I've tried a couple of different tubes and cleaned the tube socket. There is nothing connected to pin 7 at the moment.
This is an old amp with no earth plug (which I intend fixing) and no green earth lead on the primary of the transformer. The secondary has 2 yellow leads which are powering the filaments just fine, then the 2 black 310VAC leads, and 1 green lead, which I assume goes to ground.
Any help or suggestions are keenly welcomed!

Huh? Normally, there are only two leads on the primary side of the PT. The A/C supply gets grounded to the chassis. Are you sure you are clear about how this is done?and no green earth lead on the primary of the transformer.
Yellow is unusual for a 6.3v winding. Yellow is usually 5.0v, but rules are broken all the time. You need 6.3vac to supply the filaments to a 6X4. Have you checked the output on the filament winding. It should be higher than 6.3v with no load on it.The secondary has 2 yellow leads which are powering the filaments just fine,
This also strikes me as an odd combination of colors. Black is usually the primary, not the secondary. What color are you using for the primary connections? Is there continuity between each black and the green? Test for continuity with your Ohm meter.then the 2 black 310VAC leads, and 1 green lead, which I assume goes to ground.
Can you post a picture of all the wires? Or at least describe the colors and what you think is paired and what you think is the function (primary, HT secondary, filament, etc.)?

I assume you've got filament voltage tied to pins 3 and 4 on the rectifier. With nothing connected to pin 7, it may be hard to get a good reading of the voltage. Go ahead and temp in a filter cap and bleeder resistor (470k/1W) from pin 7 to ground and see if you can get a reading that way. With this minimal load, expect the voltage to be higher than specified on the schematic.
