So i have a question i'm sure it's been discussed all ready and i'm just beating a dead horse, but hey if not it's worth a thought.  
I was reading the post about the KF tribute wreck and after looking at the parts chart I found myself wondering why the values where so far off the actual component values.  I understand they used what they were given but it almost seemed like they tried to present the values as the set in stone value that made the TW tone.  Wouldn't KF have gone threw and metered every part to find the perfect value I.E. 9.1K resistor = 9.1K?  I'd think if he was anal enough to go threw iron in search of the tone that a few parts would be just another night on the bench.  then voiced the amp with a couple decade boxes and metered the boxes and chosen the value to match.  
Just a thought,   So with my Amprex At100 it would be possible to test the tubes plot and print the curve and test a batch and get the closest possible tube tone to an actual wreck.  so why not get and RTA of a wreck running a sequence of test tones and voice your clones to match then we could all have exact TW clones.  remember it's really just parts.

oops the tester is an amplitrex At1000 if anyone cares sorry about that i've had bugleboys on the brain
