Pilot light for 3/8" hole?
Working on putting a 3-channel ODS in a non-ODS chassis. For SOME reason, the PT end has 3/8" holes where the pilot light would be. Does anyone know of a 6VAC OR 120VAC pilot light that would fit in the same size hole as a pot or jack?

you either gotta use washers or make the hole bigger!

I already have a "standard Fender" style pilot light assy. I'm about to cave and drill the hole out.
I did find one Mouser part - 607-6010M1 (or M2 or M3) that is a 120V neon indicator in Red(or Amber or Green) for a 3/8" hole.

Would a standard T5 LED Holder and 2 chrome decorative washers do the trick?

I got into that problem too when I was looking for a pilot lamp for my ODS build. I think the original Fender lamp is 5/8"
Mouser has lots of options. Mine was 1/2" diameter, so I used "Chicago Miniature Neon Panel Mount 606-6073-001-634R" from Mouser.
It connects to your 120VAC primaries - it's lesser stress on your heater filament windings just in case you have more tubes and need more heater filament currents ....

Yep, the Mouser part I mentioned (although the correct part numbers are 607-6010M1/3 and 607-6012M5) are neon lights that run off the 120V line also. I'm really leaning in that direction.

I think a red LED draws +/- 1.4ma if I'm not mistaken (Very well could be!), I can't imagine that little amount would make or break your PT unless you're doing something like trying to run 4 EL34's and 6 12AX7's on a trannie rated at 3A on the filament wind!!

So Funk, What pilot light do you use (recomend) for use in the chassis that you use and sold me? Thanks, Chad
