Font on control labeling wrong, he was using his classic font as early as '72-'72 if memory serves. Maybe the change because it wasn't an ODS? But then why the Font change for the "Dumble"
Chicken heads not original (obvious)
Tube shields were probably never there, not to say he wouldn't use what was available
I would say it's post 74-75 if it's real. He was using press to set lettering in those early days.
I am suspicious of the feedback wiring
The dang slide switches are sure accurate but have been re screwed.
I dunno. I lost track of him after about '73. There's guys here that can pick up the pieces from there.
Looks like a very nice amp. I can see why it might be attributed to him. I'd like to see the backs of the input jacks......

That amp may date back to the days in Bakersfield. I was part owner in the 71 to 72 timeframe of that imfamous Dumble PA and it had the same font.

It's amazing that you put "Dumble" on the front of what amounts to a Bassman, and you can start the bid at 3-K !>!>

I thought this went for 12-K last week. Is this a relisting ?

I think we're talking about a piece of americana, Andy. Similarly, and transatlantically speaking, who would have 'thunk' that Clapton's Blackie would sell for a million bucks? The guitar was falling apart and unplayable, and one could get a custom shop version of the same thing for $2,000. Maybe some day, if and after you retire, the Fuchs amps will fetch more dough as well. :)

Cheers,

Gil
