You have a point there :^) To me, one component being in series with another means they have the same current.

You are correct. It took me reading it several times to catch on-if I did. The "Did I get it correct?" was actually meant for Ryan

oh!! That is much clearer.. Thanks, Martin! I apologize if I missed any communication about this discrepancy before. Looks like I'll need to try it in my amp  and possibly update the layout :D

No problem, and it basically reduces the output 1 dB if the feedback goes direct to the grid. Other than that, I don't know.

Thanks, Martin! Always a cordial interaction with you that I continue to appreciate!

I updated the layout with this correction. Fun fact: I looked through my pictures and I had this arranged correctly at first and somewhere along the line I changed it to the incorrect way. Oh well. I'm glad it's proper again!

Just noticing this traffic. Is my "redraw" draft correct, then, with respect to the Reverb input NFB? It looks like it is to me. Best.
Just plug it in, man.

Yes, yours matches the hand-drawn schematic.

For anyone interested, if you would like to better understand the Manning/RColgan Bias mod, I used Falstad to model it. Pretty interesting to watch the simulation. I added a smoothing filter, not sure if it is needed or not, but ripple current looks to be gone.

I may have found an error on the version 7 schematic in the Phase Inverter. I think there is a wire that is mistakenly connected between the C40 .022uF coupling cap and the R50 18k resistor. When that line is connected, the signals are in phase. With it removed, it is out of phase as it should be. Can someone check to make sure I am not hallucinating?

The latest version, 7.1, January 2024, in the first post of this thread, does not have that connection.

Hi,together,
I have a Question to the Handdrawn Schematic from here, from where did it comes? would it drawn in Japan?
I think of the curios voltages there,PT goes into 102 VAC ???,I knew,Japan has 100V AC,but PT must wind for 120V AC,so no Wonder about those low Voltages
Btw.. Here´s my Build, with Ryan Colgan´s Layout,Bipolar Bias Supply and Filter Mod from Martin Manning, and some own Safety Mod´s like Heater Elevation.....:

It Sounds Big and Amazing :D :D :D

Attached the Handdrawn PSU Schematic, with Original Voltages in Red,my Voltages in green, think i´m pretty on the spot:

Japanese characters indicate #002 was most likely traced in Japan, and the voltages shown are therefore likely to be ~17% low due to the 100V line. What appear to be errors in the hand-drawn schematic have been corrected by consensus in the redraw.
