I'm trying to order the last parts for my Connie build, and I don't have a clue what type, size, etc. of choke I should order. Is there a formula for calculating the correct choke?
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Selecting the correct choke?
Have you seen the aiken article on this yet? It'll give you some guidelines...unless you are wondering what exact choke that wreck used?..in that case, I have no idea!

Re: Selecting the correct choke?
I have a formula for calculating the DC ohm value for the choke if that's any help.
XL = 1 / ( 2 * pi * L * f )
XL = DC ohm value for an inductor
L = Inductor value in Henries
f = frequency
I'm not sure this formula helps you in anyway.
