Re: Very Low Plate Voltage on 1 Power Tube - Push/Pull
Hey guys, just got back from vacation. Just to clarify, I didn't have the jumper on when I measured the plate voltages, there is still almost no plate voltage on one of the plates. I only had it on there when I took resistance readings, which is why I got the resistance of half of the OT to centertap with each plate instead of showing open like it should have. Any other suggestions?

If both of the wires on pin 3 of your output tubes test good for resistance to the center tap, and test good for equal voltage with the tubes out of the socket but with the tubes in and trying to pull current and then you find / read no V+ on one tube, then the OT is plain and simply bad!
